My first post.... and the journey to get here

I was a girl of twelve when my Mother taught me to crochet. Little did she know how a big part of my life it would become. I am a third generation crocheter. As a young woman my Grandmother sewed clothing and crocheted garments for boutiques. Its in our blood, hence the name Judy's crochet Treasures. Judy was the nickname my Grandmother gave my Mother and for that reason it binds them in a very nostalgic way to my crochet work.

For years friend and family have asked "why don't you sell your crochet work?" and I was always to shy and lacked the confidence to display my art.

This is the year!

I am fortunate to have 3 lovely Sotho ladies who are helping me in my en devours

. Together we will be creating beautiful one of a kind blankets, cushions and clothing item.
